The Nine Days of Crevier: Day 4

Leading up to Steve Crevier’s induction into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame on Saturday evening, November 17 at the Delta Hotel in Burnaby, British Columbia, CSBK are celebrating the career of the soon-to-be-Hall of Famer, a six time Canadian National Superbike Champion and works rider for Yamaha Motor Canada, Yoshimura-Suzuki (x 2!), Canadian Kawasaki, Muzzy-Kawasaki, Honda Canada, Diablo Honda/Suzuki and Deeley Buell/Harley-Davidson.

Veteran Steve Crevier has piloted a wide variety of racing machines during his storied career, including Yamaha RZ350 two-strokes, Honda CBR125 Challenge singles, Harley-Davidson XR1200 twins and, once upon a time, the legendary Britten.  In the Daytona Battle of the Twins event in 1991, Crevier competed aboard the second factory Cardinal Britten, known as the Precursor, teamed with “Angry Ant” Paul Lewis.  The diminutive Lewis placed second in Britten’s first result after two frustrating Daytona attempts, but Crevier had all the bad luck.  This is a very rare shot of Crevier in motion on the glorious vee-twin at D.I.S.!
