Leading up to Steve Crevier’s induction into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame on Saturday evening, November 17 at the Delta Hotel in Burnaby, British Columbia, CSBK are celebrating the career of the soon-to-be-Hall of Famer, a six time Canadian National Superbike Champion and works rider for Yamaha Motor Canada, Yoshimura-Suzuki (x 2!), Canadian Kawasaki, Muzzy-Kawasaki, Honda Canada, Diablo Honda/Suzuki and Deeley Buell/Harley-Davidson.
After strong efforts with Muzzy-Kawasaki and American Honda, Crevier achieved his best result in the U.S.A. riding for the works Yoshimura-Suzuki squad. A strong front runner in the 600cc SuperSport category for a decade, Crevier earned the Championship title for Suzuki, taking the Supersport crown in 1998 in a deep factory field that included Doug Chandler, Miguel Duhamel, Josh Hayes and the Hayden brothers. Crevier is pictured on his Suzuki GSX-R600 at the December, 1998 Daytona Dunlop tire tests, the debut of his brand new number one plate.
