The 15 Days of Taylor – Day Eleven

Twice overall CSBK National road racing Champion Michael Taylor will be inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame at their 14th annual Banquet and Reunion at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Toronto, November 2.

In Celebration this historic occasion, CSBK offers Day Eleven in the “15 Days of Taylor,” referencing Michael’s long term competition plate number.

In 1998, Taylor made the unusual decision to opt-out of his successful Kawasaki ZX-7R homologation special-based program to focus on the new ZX-9R Ninja.  With the help of talented tuners including Montreal’s chassis expert Dale Rathwell, Taylor’s new machine had success on the Canadian Superbike tour as well as AMA Pro Formula Extreme action and the WERA Formula USA category.
