The Canadian Superbike Championship would like to provide an update on the status of Pro national rider Connor Campbell after his crash in Saturday morning’s Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike practice session at Atlantic Motorsport Park.
Campbell crashed in turn eight early in the session, resulting in a red flag as he required helicopter transport to a local hospital.
The Campbell family and members of the B&T MacFarlane Kawasaki team have allowed CSBK officials to provide the following update on his status as of 11:45 am AT on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
Campbell is conscious and recovering from multiple injuries suffered in the crash, including but not limited to a broken clavicle, collapsed lung, and fractured forearm. He is currently awaiting surgery to repair the clavicle and assess any other injuries.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
