AMP update as of Saturday evening, July 22

As of Saturday, July 22, Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship officials are continuing to work with local emergency services as both sides prioritize the safe departure of everyone at Atlantic Motorsport Park.

Extreme rainfall and flooding in the area has caused a significant erosion of the roadway in and out of the facility, with CSBK staff exploring all possible solutions throughout the day Saturday.

More information will be provided Sunday morning as CSBK officials await the response of local emergency services.

The greater Halifax-Dartmouth region of Nova Scotia has suffered considerable flooding and damage after days of precipitation, complicating the emergency response effort.

In the meantime, the series would like to stress that the safety and wellbeing of everyone inside the facility is of the highest importance, and they advise everyone to shelter-in-place until a safe exit is available.

CSBK would again like to thank all staff, competitors, and fans for their patience during this difficult and unprecedented time.
