All safely out of Atlantic Motorsport Park

Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship officials are pleased to confirm that, as of the morning of Tuesday, July 25, all competitors, fans, and staff have been safely allowed to exit Atlantic Motorsport Park near Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Record rainfall and flooding had caused a significant erosion of the roadway in and out of the facility on the morning of Saturday, July 22, forcing the cancellation of the remainder of the weekend.

Emergency response officials, in conjunction with local and provincial authorities, helped complete the installation of a temporary bridge late Sunday, July 23, allowing for the exit of everyone on-site.

CSBK would like to thank the entire crew involved for their quick and professional efforts in this process, as well as extending continued gratitude to all competitors, fans, and staff for their patience during this difficult and unprecedented time.

The series also sends its thoughts and prayers to all affected by the severe weather situation across Nova Scotia.

More information regarding the return to racing will be provided when available, with round four scheduled for August 18-20 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
