3 years ago I was throwing my leg over a 1995 CBR 600F3 hand-me-down track bike for the very first time and setting my sights on the challenging track that is Calabogie Motorsports Park.
Fast forward a year and I'm entering my first regional race at the final round of Shannonville Motorsport Park in 2014 aboard that same 95 CBR. Being only my 4th time on a race bike (and track) and first time riding the Pro Track layout at Shannonville I was very happy with my 3rd place finish and immediately caught the racing bug.
The 2015 season brought some highs in acquiring a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 600 for the beginning of the season and later acquiring my race prepped 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R which I plan to run in the 2016 Mopar CSBK national series as well as regional racing throughout Ontario when I can. As well as the lows of my first big crash which totalled my CSBK bike and required a lot of off season repairs.
I have been training hard in the off season and building a great backing of support and sponsorship to make this year one to remember. My sponsors include: Marriner Design, 613 Motorsports, Champion Spark Plugs, Vortex Racing, Spy Optics, Napa Autoparts Cornwall, VnM Sportgear, Road Racing Stars of Tomorrow, Dr Nick Karaiskos Orthodontics, Argyle Associates, O'Farrell Financial, Windmill Motorsports and Machine and SHAWNAIR.
I have worked hard for the support I am receiving for the 2016 and continually am searching to expand my connections and networks with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. I am more than excited to be a front runner in the Amateur Sport Bike class this year.
