Team News: Leon Set to Race BMW S1000RR in CSBK

Royal Distributing Racing Team News: Leon Set to Race the Royal Distributing BMW Motorrad Canada S1000RR Superbike in the 2016 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship.

Montreal based road racer, Michael Leon, will continue his long standing relationship with Royal Distributing who will again be the team's title sponsor. Royal Distributing is one of Canada's leading retailers of aftermarket clothing, parts and accessories for on and off road motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and bicycles.  Royal Distributing serves customers for 4 Superstores throughout Ontario and through their popular catalog.

The weapon of choice will be a new 2016 S1000RR with support from BMW Motorrad Canada.  Last season, Michael demonstrated the BMW to be a true "turnkey" Superbike.  In 2015, he had multiple front row starts, several top five finishes. He ended the season 6th overall, despite 2 DNFs crashing out of the lead at St Eustache and crashing from 3rd place at Edmonton.

Experienced track day riders are invited to try the S1000RR first hand during Pro 6 Cycle track days at Calabogie. This demo program was very popular last year and left many riders impressed with the BMW machine. Please visit or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
