RAFFA RACING announces the return of COUTURIER RACING as a sponsor for his 2018 season

Pro Mopar CSBK road racer Louie Raffa is thrilled to announce the return of COUTURIER RACING as a sponsor for his 2018 season. 

Raffa wrapped up his 2017 Pro Mopar CSBK season third in the LIQUI MOLY PRO SPORT BIKE championship standings.

COUTURIER RACING was instrumental in his return to road racing back in 2012 following the devastating injury that happened at the opening round at the Circuit ICAR that took Louie out for the 2011 season. They were behind him as a major sponsor for both the 2012 & 2013 seasons. They have taken a 4 year hiatus but the two parties started talking again and came to a mutual agreement which results in COUTURIER RACING committing to support his contention for the LIQUI MOLY PRO SPORT BIKE championship.

"I'm so happy to have Stephane and Martine of COUTURIER RACING behind my program for the 2018 season. We've been friends with them for several years now and it means a lot to me that they've chosen me to come back with ." Says Raffa.

"Things happened during my last racing season back in 2013, although it had nothing to do with RAFFA RACING's effort it nonetheless concluded into me needing to step away from racing for a couple of seasons. I've grown in those years and am ready to forgive and forget those concerned. I have such a passion for the sport, it's in my blood. I'm thrilled to come back with RAFFA RACING and am committing to giving Louie all the tools he needs to bring home the championship." Says Stephane Couturier. 

The opening event of the 2018 Mopar CSBK Canadian National Superbike Championship will take place at Shannonville Motorsport Park's PRO circuit May 25-27, 2018. For the third straight season the national motorcycle road racing tour will begin at the famous SMP venue.
