Team News: Alex Coelho announces 2019 CSBK plans

Backed by Turcotte Performance and RRRacing, Coelho announces his 2019 program

The 2018 Mopar CSBK season saw Alex Coelho (2015 Amateur Sport Bike Champion) barely finishing races last year due technical issues… mainly engine!

Now backed by a professional team, involving Turcotte Performance based out of Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare, QC and Rob Roston from RRRacing with the help of Gord Bush Performance, Coelho is very confident that this year will not be anything close to what 2018 was.

’’I am very fortunate to have Rob having work on my engine with help and advice from Gord Bush Performance. I am confident that I have a well-built motor for this season. His experience from CSBK, AMA and Moto GP, gives me the confidence that this year promises to be one of my best years yet.’’

’’Francis Turcotte from Turcotte Performance will be tuning the bike while also be present at all the CSBK events. It’s great for a lonesome rider, to finally find great support and a team to be part of. I’m looking forward to the 2019 season and have left 2018 far in the dust. I believe I have the package to compete up front and even for top honours.’’

Alex tested this past Sunday the 12th at Autodrome St-Eustache, which will host round 3 of the Mopar CSBK Canadian Superbike Championship in the Belle Province, for the very last time. Autodrome St-Eustache is due to close at end of 2019.

’’I’m ready for this weekend for the opening round of the CSBK at the legendary Shannonville Motorsport Park. My health is good and my training at Muay Thaï Rive-Sud, with their class of Thaï-ger X-Treme Fitness is definitely paying off’’

Alex would like to thank: RRRacing & Gord Bush Performance, Turcotte Performance, Gulf Oils and TP Distribution, DB Moto.ca, Hindle Exhausts, SHOEI Helmets, Sportbike Track Gear, Drippin’ Wet, Vortex and Muay Thaï Rive-Sud.

Also a honorable mention to the CSBK staff, Pro 6 Cycle for the great sticky service with those Dunlops, Bickle Racing, the fans that will be coming out to encourage us and the ALL THE MARSHALLS AND MEDICAL STAFF for their amazing work !!!
