Colin Lolacher, from Chestermere AB, has been road racing motorcycles with the Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association (EMRA) for the past 4 years. Prior to racing motorcycles Lolacher has been racing anything with wheels and an engine since he could get a driver’s license. Now 32 years old, Lolacher is ecstatic about the chance to race with the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship National Series. “I am thrilled to get the chance to race with riders that up until now I have only had the opportunity to watch on TV, and then on CSBK.ca,” stated Colin.
With the series coming back out west to Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway, this is a great chance to show the rest of Canada that despite the track in Calgary closing, it does not mean that the passion for road racing has ceased. When asked about the Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton coming on board to support his program Colin added, “This was a last minute deal that kind of just came together. I am thrilled for the support the Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton has given me for the 2015 EMRA and my CSBK effort. I am looking forward to working with them!”
“The Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton is thrilled to announce that we will be a preferred hotel for the Edmonton Motorcycle Road Racing Association (EMRA) for the 2015 season as well as the Canadian Superbike Championship Series (CSBK), set to take place July 10th to 12th, 2015 at the Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta. Furthermore, The Sawridge Inn Edmonton is ecstatic to be sponsoring the #11 Kawasaki of Colin Lolacher; our very own Superbike Racer! We look forward to the excitement and vitality this event will bring to our hotel and our city. We wish all the competitors good luck, but Colin, we wish you the best of luck!”

The next major stop on the calendar will be at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the August 14-16th rounds 6 & 7 of the Mopar CSBK season.
