Castrol Raceway and EMRA Feature at Edmonton Bike Show

The Canadian Motorcycle Show tour staged event two in Edmonton over the weekend, where Castrol Raceway confirmed that Parts Canada would be the title sponsor of their inaugural double header weekend at the new roadracing venue near their International Airport, July 10-12.

Castrol Raceway staff worked from the booth of Parts Canada at the Show, promoting their new National event, where a Vintage Flat Track race and Honda Red Riders program will feature along with a midway set-up and the various events of the MOPAR CSBK National Series.

Nine time Canadian Superbike National Champion Jordan Szoke was on hand, supported by sponsors Mopar, BMW Motorrad and Parts Canada as media activities already ramped up in preparation for the National double header rounds.  Szoke did radio, television, and print interviews, as well as signing autographs and appearing on shows during his hectic visit – Szoke landed from his flight from Hamilton Friday morning and headed straight to a radio station!

The host Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association were busy promoting their racing, school, and track day activities at Castrol Raceway, as well as discussing the forthcoming National with a wide range of competitors.  The Schedule for the National weekend is expected to include one or two EMRA Regional classes, details likely to be released in February.
