A pair of podium finishes in Canadian Superbike action earlier this summer was a welcome lift in a pandemic of a summer, but Suzuki Canada GSX-R1000R pilot Trevor Daley determined that the end of the Canadian season needn’t signal the end of the fun. With his sights set on Indianapolis’s famous Brickyard, Trevor will be competing in this weekend’s MotoAmerica Superbike series. Although Trevor’s Suzuki is more Superstock-spec than all-out Superbike, if you’re going to jump in the deep end, you’d might as well go all the way to the top class.
Trevor’s Suzuki Canada GSX-R will be racing under the wing of the US Suzuki factory supported race effort, Team Hammer.
“It’s a dream come true,” says Trevor of the opportunity to guest alongside such an illustrious team. “And to do it at Indy makes it extra special.” Despite limited track time in Canada this summer, both Trevor’s fitness regimen and his GSXR1000R’s development have continued apace, and despite knowing the magnitude of the challenge ahead of him, Trevor relishes the opportunity.
Follow Trevor’s social media channels this weekend and chart the progress of number 66—Trevor’s freshly-donned MotoAmerica racing number.
