Team News: EFC BMW's Guerin to compete in 2021 Pro Superbike

The newly born EFC BMW racing team is pleased to announce they will contend for the 2021 Canadian Superbike Championship. The team will rely on Samuel Guerin to bring his BMW S1000RR to the front of the Pro superbike class.

The shortened 2020 CSBK National season was a good transition year for then-rookie Pro Guerin, allowing National # 82 to finish second in the 2021 Feature class Championship year-end points standings. Since that success, a lot of work has been done during the winter to prepare for the upcoming 2021 season.

Guerin will hold the Pro #2 plate this summer and aim for his first professional, National Feature class Pro Superbike win.

Following last year’s results, the Guerin squad have had the chance to earn support from several new, solid companies, adding to their existing partners.

Guerin will be racing with his distinctive red branding scheme with for sporting EFC Group and sponsors Roule-Hot jobsite trailers, MGL racing, Solugaz propane, Norbec architectural, United rentals, Cyrell-amp, MPG and Forza Canada.

''I am super excited to have the opportunity to represent all my sponsors on TSN at the National level,” confirmed Guerin. “We are focused on continuing improvement in our performances and improve my consistency over race distance.''

This program would not be possible without the participation of Team Manger Mario Guerin as well as Jacob Caron and Patrice Goyette, our team mechanics. This young team will double their efforts in the next few weeks to be more than ready when we they reach the track for the opening CSBK rounds.

EFC BMW racing is looking forward to what should be an extremely exciting CSBK National Superbike season. The addition of new Feature class Pro competitors and the confirmed participation of previous superbike champions will provide tons of on-track action.

Sam Guerin has set his eyes on the Brooklin Cycle Racing Pro Rookie of the Year title and aim to finish strong in the 2021 Pro Superbike points standings.

With the current Canadian health situation evolving rapidly, the race calendar might hold some changes as the 2021 season unfolds. The EFC BMW Racing Team are ready, any track, anytime.

Wishing everyone good success in their 2021 season!
