Team News: Royds set to debut as CSBK Pro

Jordan Royds is set to debut as a Pro in the 2021 Canadian Superbike Championship aboard his IBEW Canada BMW S1000RR.

Jordan had a phenomenal 2020 season taking home 2 regional Amateur Superbike Championships and a regional Open Sprint Championship.  Out of 22 races entered, 21 were podium finishes with 17 race wins.  He was also able to set a new Amateur CSBK lap record at Calabogie Motorsports Park and he won his first Amateur National Superbike Race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.  He looks to build on these strong finishes as he enters the Pro class for the first time.

The International Brotherhood or Electrical Workers (IBEW) has signed on as the title sponsor for the second year in a row.  As an Electrician and a current IBEW member Jordan could not be happier to be involved with the premier electrical workers union in North America. 

BMW Motorrad Canada continues to support Jordan in 2021.  After switching to the BMW mid season last year, Jordan was immediately comfortable on the new machine.

Ben Gartner of ProStar Motorsports is set to officially be the team’s crew chief.  They are both eager to go racing in the Pro class after working together in varying degrees over the 2 previous seasons.
