After a few rest days to process what happened in Shubenacadie, here is our weekend recap.

The Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship summer break was used to build our Suzuki Canada GSX-R into a full fledged racebike. Getting parts from all over is challenging when you have all winter to get it done, doing it in the middle of the summer while running ST Motosport makes it even more difficult. But we thrive on challenges! 

Writers note: (Sebastien builds his own racebikes in his ST Motosport shop, doing everything, motors, suspension, set up except the dyno tuning that is done thanks to the support of Turcotte Performance)

The bike being now more competitive, we felt ready to challenge the rollercoaster that is the Atlantic Motorsport Park. A track that we enjoy both for its twisty technical nature and the festivities that always ensues during that weekend.

The threatening sky made us want to stay at the top of the timesheet in Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike practice in case qualifying wasn't going to happen. But qualifying came and we ran a fast time that we were confident we could run all race long. We were indeed ready to race!

Then all hell broke loose!

We wanted to thank CSBK for putting everyone's safety as their top priority.

Our heart goes out to all the locals affected and we can't wait to come visit you again next year!

In the meantime we are confident that the CSBK staff will come with a solution that will not impact our chances at being in the running for the Championship, our ultimate goal.
