During the winter of 2022, CSBK will celebrate Suzuki’s 2021 National Manufacturer’s Title with a look back at the history of Suzuki’s production-based racers. Each Friday will offer a glimpse into the impressive legacy of Suzuki’s success.

The 1986 RACE National tour opened at Westwood Motorsport Park just east of Vancouver, British Columbia. The crowd favourite was undoubtedly local bike dealer Gary Goodfellow, a former M/Xer born in New Zealand. Goodfellow’s Suzuki GSX-R750 was decked out in Pink Flamingo livery, advertising his downtown scooter rental business geared for tourists at the Vancouver World’s Fair taking place at the time.
