The Mopar CSBK Canadian Superbike Championship is heading to Atlantic Canada for Round 4 of the national motorcycle roadracing series.

Presented by local motorcycle dealer Pro Cycle, in association with LS2 Helmets and Liqui Moly, the fourth CSBK round of the 2019 season will be held at Atlantic Motorsport Park near Shubenacadie, NS this weekend, July 19, 20, 21.

Known for exciting and memorable races, the 2.56 KM (1.6 mile) 11-turn circuit will not disappoint fans with races from all categories in the CSBK Championship, including TSN’s Motorcycle Experience Amateur Lightweight Sport Bike, Parts Canada Amateur Sport Bike, Mopar Express Lane Amateur Superbike, Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike, and of course the feature Mopar Pro Superbike class. The Atlantic Motorsport Park round is a Double-Header weekend for the Pro Classes providing racing on both Saturday and Sunday for Pro Sport Bike and Pro Superbike.

A local favourite to watch is Pro Cycle sponsored Jacob Shaw-O’Leary. 20-year-old Shaw-O’Leary will be aiming for the top of the podium in the Pro Sport Bike class. The Falmouth, NS rider is making his first CSBK appearance of the season this weekend riding a Suzuki GSX-R600 promoting the Revs 4 Rett organization. (www.revs4rett.com)

On top of the National CSBK divisions competing on the weekend, the local racing club will also be showcasing some of their talent. The Society of Atlantic Roadracing League will offer two support classes lending to a full schedule of on track activity.

Also part of the Round 4 celebrations will be Pro Cycle’s annual “Fast Bikes” show-n-shine. Held at their Dartmouth store at 360 Higney Avenue on the evening of Thursday, July 18, the event has become a tradition at the Atlantic CSBK round, giving race fans a chance to check out some great looking motorcycles and meet some of their favourite Superbike riders at the same time. Fans can enter to win an LS2 helmet and weekend passes to the races.
