Two Time overall CSBK National road racing Champion Michael Taylor will be inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame at their 14th annual Banquet and Reunion at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Toronto, November 2.
To celebrate this historic occasion, CSBK offers the “15 Days of Taylor,” referencing Michael’s long term competition plate number – other than number one.
Today’s image celebrates the last race of the 1994 Canadian road racing season, the WERA Six Hour National Endurance round at Shannonville Motorsport Park. Taylor had already clinched his first overall National Championship, and for the WERA race teamed with fellow works Kawasaki racer and long time friend and rival Don Munroe to win the rare American National (in Canada) for the Canadian Kawasaki Motors Squad. Here, Munroe takes Taylor for a Ninja victory lap on the 15 turn S.M.P. “Long Track.”
