Two Time overall CSBK National road racing Champion Michael Taylor will be inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame at their 14th annual Banquet and Reunion at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Toronto, November 2.
To celebrate this historic occasion, CSBK offers the “15 Days of Taylor,” referencing Michael’s preferred competition plate number – other than number one.
Today’s image takes us back to 1994, at the biggest race of the season, July’s Superbike National at Shannonville Motorsport Park. In the Pro Sport Bike final for middleweight bikes, Taylor falls from the last lap fight for the lead in Allen’s corner, against eventual winner Owen Weichel’s Hyd Mech Saws Honda. Taylor was piloting a borrowed FAST School Kawasaki after experiencing mechanical issues with his ex-Crevier Ninja in practice.
