West City Powersports, a Honda Dealer in Belleville, ON, will provide the Pole Position Awards for the Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike class at the opening round of the 2017 Mopar CSBK National Series at Shannonville Motorsport Park May 27.
The top three qualifiers from Qualifying for Pro Sport Bike will receive ‘Big Cheque’ cash awards on the SMP podium immediately following their qualifying session on May 27th. These Awards will be presented by Chad Musclow, West City Powersports Sales Manager.
The fastest racer an Pole Sitter from the single Qualifying session will receive $200.00 with $150.00 going to second place and $100.00 for the third fastest qualifying rider.
West City Powersports have long supported motorcycle events in the Quinte area and have been partnered with the RACE Superseries as a class sponsor for the past four years. They were also a promoting partner with Mopar CSBK for the opening round of the 2014 season at SMP.

In recent years, Jordan Szoke, Jodi Christie and Kenny Riedmann have taken the title in Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike, but this year no previous Champion of the class is expected to enter the middleweight division.
“It’s great to continue our involvement with West City Powersports,” confirmed CSBK boss Colin Fraser. “We will be placing increased focus on Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike this season, and this Pole Award will help kick things off right this weekend at Shannonville. Several rising stars in the series are expected to star in our Sport Bike divisions.”
The first Qualifying session of the 2017 National motorcycle road racing season will be for the young guns Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike, right after the lunch break, on Saturday May 27. Shannonville Motorsport Park celebrates their 40th season of completion in 2017.
