Campbell has had a year of bad luck aboard the Ninja ZX-10R, but says it was important to the team and himself to keep representing his supporters at the biggest event on the CSBK calendar, held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Interestingly, Campbell himself had his superbike debut subbing on the Waznie Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in the final round of the 2023 season.

“We are excited to see what Alex can do on our Canadian Kawasaki Motors ZX-10R,” says Connor. “He’s been riding very well in the supersport class this season so we are excited to give him this opportunity.”

Michel, who currently sits third in the Pro SuperSport championship standings aboard his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has seen a brace of podiums in 2025 and hopes that his run of form will put him in good shape aboard the B&T MacFarlane Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.

Michel will be riding with support from Quebec Kawasaki dealer Mathias Marine in his first ever ride of a full-fledged superbike in the Bridgestone CSBK championship.

“Finally having the chance to ride a Superbike at CTMP is a dream come true for anyone who has ridden there before,” said an enthusiastic Alex Michel.

“This is the fastest track in Canada, and I am super excited to see how much of my experience on the Ninja ZX-6R will translate over to the ZX-10R.

“Hopefully we’ll get some good results in both classes and I am looking forward to see how fast this rocket can go.

“I really want to thank Kawasaki, Campbell Racing, B&T MacFarlane, and Mathias Marine for making this happen!”

The final round of the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike championship happens August 8-10 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. Tickets at CSBK.ca.
