Jordan Szoke to Miss Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Round Due to Ongoing Family Matter
Fourteen-time Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke has announced that he will not be attending this weekend’s Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park to focus on an ongoing family matter and their safety.
“This wasn’t an easy decision, but at this time my focus needs to remain on my family,” said Szoke. “Out of respect for everyone involved, I don’t want my personal situation to take the attention away from what is always one of the premier events on the Canadian Superbike Championship calendar.”
He also shared a message for the fans who have supported him throughout his racing career.
“To my fans, thank you for standing by me. Your encouragement and loyalty have never gone unnoticed, and I’m truly grateful. I look forward to seeing everyone again when the time is right.”
Szoke concluded by wishing all of the competitors, teams, officials, sponsors, and fans a safe and successful race weekend.
“I wish everyone competing this weekend the very best. Mosport is always a special event, and I hope the fans enjoy some great racing.”
