Four-time Bridgestone CSBK national champion Tomas Casas will be returning to the series in a limited fashion in 2026, confirming his plans for the upcoming season beginning with a round one entry at Shannonville Motorsport Park this weekend, May 15-17.

Casas will be focusing his efforts on the class he championed twice, headlining the OPP Racing Pro Supersport category aboard a FAST Riding School sponsored Suzuki GSX-R750.

Having captured Supersport titles in 2017 and 2018, Casas ran as a regular frontrunner in the feature GP Bikes Pro Superbike field before making a sensational return to the middleweight class at last year’s CTMP finale.

Riding the same GSX-R750, Casas fought for the win in both races of the doubleheader, finishing second and third as he showed zero signs of rust in his first full weekend aboard a Supersport machine since 2019.

Despite a busy few weeks leading up to the first round, Casas is hoping a return to Shannonville can provide him the same comfortability he found on his Suzuki last season.

“I had very minimal track time on the bike last year prior to CTMP, but had such a good feeling once I got out there with it,” Tomas admitted. “I’m really excited to see what we can do with it at Shannonville, especially at the team’s home track.”

Casas is an instructor at the FAST Riding School located right at Shannonville Motorsport Park, a valued sponsor of his for many seasons and an integral piece of his return in 2025.

“We should have lots of fans out for round one, and I really hope we can get some interest in people trying out FAST Riding School and seeing how fun it can be out there on track,” Tomas added.

The team will also receive crucial support from Fast Printing & Press in 2026, a significant sponsor for both planned events at Shannonville and CTMP. Located in Aurora, Ontario, Fast Printing & Press is “the premier online printing platform for personal, promotional, commercial, and informational print products at the lowest prices.” Tomas is grateful for their support even through the altered race program.

Casas had initially planned to contest the full 2026 campaign, but a lack of manufacturer support changed plans significantly, putting the team’s status for round one in jeopardy.

However, Tomas decided - thanks in large part to the vital backing from both FAST Riding School and Fast Printing & Press - to race at the first and fifth rounds of the season at nearby Shannonville and CTMP.  The team looks forward to some fun racing, and if a successful weekend brings on additional support to continue in 2026 it is more than welcomed!

The team is now looking forward to kicking off the season in style when official action gets underway on Friday, May 15, at the historic venue just an hour west of Kingston, Ontario.

Casas and the team would like to thank Fast Riding School, Fast Printing Press, GBRacing, Hindle Exhaust, Arai Helmets, Bickle Racing, DP Brakes, Flexiglass, Vortex, Motul, Damian Pereira Photography, Taos's Peterborough, 88MOTO, Forsaken Motorsports, and all others who have supported him in making this possible.
