Daytona Beach, FL – In just his second appearance at the legendary Daytona 200, Trevor entered the race with high expectations, determined to improve on his 20th-place debut from the previous year. Despite facing a setback during a pre-race shakedown test, he remained optimistic and ready to push for a strong result.

“Throughout the pre-event test and the Daytona race weekend, I struggled to regain the feeling I had with the bike last year due to some setup changes over the off-season,” Trevor explained.

“Unfortunately, key adjustments were delayed, and by the time we made significant changes, track time was too limited to make meaningful progress.”

With the draft playing a crucial role at Daytona, Trevor found himself unable to stay within the lead pack early on. This turned the 57-lap race into more of a solo challenge, requiring focus and endurance as he worked to make the most of the situation.

Despite the challenges on track, Trevor praised his team’s flawless pit work, handling two red- flag stoppages with precision. However, where his crew held an edge in pit stops last year, other teams had stepped up their game, making it harder to gain track position.

When the checkered flag waved, Trevor had fought his way from an 18th-place start to a solid 14th-place finish—a testament to his perseverance and racecraft. While the grid was slightly smaller than in 2024, the competition remained fierce, with the riders ahead representing some of the top talent in the field.

Trevor expressed his gratitude to his team, partners, and supporters, saying: “We’ll take what we learned and come back stronger in 2026!” With experience and determination on his side, Trevor and OneSpeedInc have their sights set on an even bigger performance in the years ahead.

Trevor extends his most sincerer gratitude to his race team partners for their support and to all his fans for following along. Stay tuned for more to come form Trevor in 2025 and make sure to check out Trevor's event article 'Down On The Apron' at www.Insidemotorcycles.com
