The Ride42 Racing Team will be back on track together to round out the 2025 Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship season, as Sebastian Hothaza and Zoltan Frast will again join forces in the feature GP Bikes Pro Superbike class at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Hothaza and Frast raced together under the Ride42 tent at CTMP last season, putting together a strong weekend in their first full Superbike appearance, and the duo will be hoping to build upon that with another good showing to end the campaign.

Leading the charge on the Ride42 Yamaha YZF-R1 will be Hothaza, who has yet to compete nationally in 2025 but was very competitive a year ago, finishing tenth in both races and running inside the top-five early in race two.

As for Frast, he settled for finishes of 13th and 14th aboard a Kawasaki last season but was revitalized by his switch to a Clare’s Cycle BMW in round one at Shannonville, finishing seventh and eighth to put himself second in the Pro Rookie of the Year standings.

Both riders have continued racing regionally with the SOAR series at Grand Bend, enjoying excellent seasons in the pro categories. Hothaza currently sits second in the Pro 600 championship, while Frast stands fourth in the Pro Superbike class.

The teammates began their careers racing against each other as top amateurs in the SOAR series, carrying that friendly rivalry into CSBK as they both added national Amateur Supersport victories in 2022.

Hothaza’s appearance will also be a welcome boost to Yamaha’s tally in the Constructors Championship, where they sit fourth with 59 points and just four points ahead of Suzuki at the bottom of the table.

Frast will be added support for BMW, who have been headlined by Alex Dumas and Sam Guerin this season but have had just one other point-scorer in the five races since Frast last appeared at Shannonville.

As well as riding under the Ride42 banner, both riders will represent mutual sponsors Eurorace Canada, KYT Canada, and PLUS Racing Gear. Frast will also continue riding with Clare’s Cycle support, as well as NFD Autobody, Sib’s Powersports, Primerica, Lean Angle Motorsports, Vesrah, and Vortex.

Ride42 is a trackday organization catering to new and developing riders. Located at Grand Bend Motorplex where both Hothaza and Frast have spent many laps honing their skills and racecraft, they now share that passion with other riders through coaching and guidance at Ride42 trackdays. Information on how to get involved can be found at the team’s pit in the CSBK paddock.

Sebastian and Zoltan would like to thank their sponsors and everyone who has supported them in making this opportunity possible, as they look forward to another great weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, August 8-10, just an hour east of Toronto.
